Privacy Policy

For all Easy By Design, LLC apps and games on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and for easybydesign.com.

Effective date: October 31, 2026 · Last updated: October 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Easy By Design, LLC (“Easy By Design,” “we,” “us”) and the third parties we work with collect when you use our mobile apps and games, and when you visit our website. It also explains how that information is used, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices and rights you have.

It applies to every app and game we publish on the Apple App Store and Google Play under the developer name “Easy By Design, LLC” (each an “App”) and to easybydesign.com (the “Site”). If an App ever works differently from what is described here, that App’s store listing and an in-app notice will say so, and we will update this policy before the change takes effect.

The short version

  • No accounts. Our Apps never ask for your name, email address, phone number or a password.
  • Your progress stays on your device. Saves, scores and settings are stored locally, and we never receive them.
  • Some Apps show ads from Google AdMob. Google collects device identifiers, your IP address and ad-interaction data to show and measure ads. Ads are personalized only if you allow it.
  • No analytics. Our Apps and our Site contain no analytics or tracking tools of our own.
  • We don’t sell your personal information for money.
  • Questions or requests: info@easybydesign.com.

1. Who we are

Easy By Design, LLC is a software company based in Texas, United States. We are the developer and publisher of the Apps and the operator of the Site, and we are the “controller” (or “business”) responsible for the personal information described in this policy, except where we say a third party acts independently.

Our privacy contact for all questions and requests about this policy is info@easybydesign.com.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information stored only on your device

Our Apps store the following locally on your device: game progress and saves, scores and statistics, settings (such as sound and haptics), and a record of the privacy choices you made in the App. This information is not sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it. Your device’s own backup service (for example iCloud Backup or Google backup) may include it in your backups, under Apple’s or Google’s terms. Deleting the App deletes this information from your device.

2.2 Information collected by Google’s advertising SDK (Apps that show ads)

Some of our free Apps show ads using the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) and use Google’s User Messaging Platform to ask for consent where the law requires it. When an App with ads is running and connected to the internet, the SDK automatically collects the information below from your device and sends it to Google. Google describes this collection in its Android data disclosure and iOS data disclosure.

Type of dataWhat it includesWhy it is collected
Device and advertising identifiers On Android: the Android advertising ID and app set ID. On iOS: the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), only if you allow tracking, and the Identifier for Vendors (IDFV) or other app-scoped identifiers. Showing ads, ad measurement, frequency capping, fraud prevention, analytics; personalized ads only if you allow them
Approximate location Your IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location (such as city or region). We do not collect precise GPS location. Showing ads relevant to your region, legal compliance (for example, which consent rules apply), fraud prevention
App activity and ad interactions App launches, taps, ad views, ad clicks, and video views Ad delivery and measurement, analytics, fraud prevention
Diagnostics Crash logs, and performance data such as app launch time, hang rate and energy use Diagnosing problems with the SDK, analytics, and improving ad delivery
Device information Device model, operating system and version, language, screen size, and network type, sent with ad requests Showing ads that work on your device, fraud prevention

Google receives this information directly from your device. We do not receive your identifiers, IP address or ad-interaction history. We only see aggregated, non-identifying reports in our AdMob account, such as the total number of ads shown in an App. Google uses this information as an independent controller under the Google Privacy Policy. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Apps that don’t show ads don’t include the Google Mobile Ads SDK and don’t collect any of the information in this table.

2.3 Information you give us

If you email or call us (for example, for support, a bug report or a privacy request), we receive your email address or phone number, your name if you include it, and anything you choose to tell us or attach, such as device details or screenshots. Please don’t send us sensitive information we haven’t asked for.

2.4 In-app purchases

Our Apps don’t currently sell anything. If an App offers in-app purchases in the future, payment will be handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play Billing). We will never receive your name, payment card or billing address. Apple or Google will tell the App and us which item was bought, when, the transaction ID, the price, and the country or currency. We use that only to deliver the purchase, restore it on your devices, handle refunds, and keep financial and tax records. Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies cover the payment itself.

2.5 Diagnostics from Apple and Google

If you’ve chosen in your device settings to share analytics or diagnostics with app developers (on iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share With App Developers; on Android: Google’s “Usage & diagnostics” setting), Apple or Google may give us crash reports and aggregated statistics about our Apps, such as installs, crash rates and device types. These reports are provided under Apple’s and Google’s terms and don’t identify you to us. You can turn this sharing off at any time in your device settings.

2.6 Our website

Our Site uses no cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, includes no analytics or advertising code, and doesn’t load fonts, scripts or other content from third parties. As with any website, our hosting provider, Hostinger, automatically records standard server logs when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, the referring page, and the date and time. These logs are used only to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and troubleshoot problems.

2.7 Device permissions

Our Apps don’t access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar, health data or precise location. They use internet access to load ads (in Apps with ads), and may use haptics or vibration. On iOS, Apps with ads may ask your permission to track through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt (see section 4). If a future App ever needs another permission, it will ask you first and explain why, and we will update this policy.

2.8 What we don’t collect

We don’t collect your name, email address or phone number through our Apps. We don’t collect precise location, contacts, photos, files, browsing history, health information, financial information, or any “sensitive” personal information as defined by privacy laws. We don’t use analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics) or build profiles about you.

3. How we use information

We use information only for the purposes below. For people in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the table also shows the legal basis we rely on under the GDPR or UK GDPR.

PurposeInformation usedLegal basis (EEA/UK/Switzerland)
Running the Apps, saving your progress and settings on your deviceOn-device data onlyNot applicable: this data never leaves your device
Showing personalized ads to fund our free AppsAdvertising SDK data (section 2.2)Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time
Showing non-personalized or limited ads, ad measurement, and preventing ad fraudAdvertising SDK data (section 2.2), with less data where you haven’t consentedYour consent where the law requires it; otherwise our legitimate interests in funding free Apps and preventing fraud
Answering your messages and providing supportYour email or phone number and message (section 2.3)Our legitimate interests in responding to you, or taking steps you’ve asked for
Delivering and restoring purchases, refunds, accounting (if purchases are offered)Transaction details (section 2.4)Performance of a contract and legal obligations (tax and accounting)
Fixing bugs and improving the AppsCrash reports and aggregated statistics from Apple and Google (section 2.5)Our legitimate interests in making the Apps work well
Running and securing the SiteServer logs (section 2.6)Our legitimate interests in security and reliability
Meeting legal obligations and enforcing our rightsAny of the above, as neededLegal obligation and legitimate interests

We don’t use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Advertising and tracking

Apps that show ads only request ads after checking your privacy choices:

  • Consent where required. In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, and U.S. states whose laws require it, the App first shows Google’s consent message, which lets you accept or decline personalized ads and related uses of your data. You can change your answer later from the App’s Settings (see section 7).
  • Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (iOS). On iPhone and iPad, the App asks your permission through Apple’s tracking prompt before the advertising identifier (IDFA) can be used. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track,” the IDFA isn’t shared and the ads you see aren’t based on your activity in other companies’ apps and websites.
  • Android. You can delete or reset your advertising ID at any time in your device settings. If you delete it, apps can no longer use it for personalized ads.

If you decline, you can still use the App. You may still see ads, but they will be non-personalized or “limited” ads based on less information, such as the App you’re using and your general location.

Under Apple’s definitions, personalized ads served through the Google Mobile Ads SDK can count as “tracking” because Google may combine data from our Apps with data from other apps and websites. That’s why we ask permission first. We don’t track you in any other way, and we don’t share any data with data brokers.

We currently serve ads only through Google AdMob and don’t use other ad networks or mediation partners. If that changes, we will list the new partners here before they are used.

5. Who we share information with

We don’t sell your personal information for money, and we don’t rent or trade it. Information is shared only as follows:

  • Google (AdMob and User Messaging Platform): receives the advertising SDK data described in section 2.2 directly from Apps that show ads, as an independent controller under the Google Privacy Policy and Google’s advertising data protection terms.
  • Apple and Google (app stores): distribute our Apps, process any purchases, and provide us with optional diagnostics, under their own privacy policies (Apple, Google).
  • Hostinger: hosts our Site and our email, and processes server logs and the emails you send us on our behalf as a service provider (Hostinger Privacy Policy).
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, when needed, under duties of confidentiality.
  • Authorities and others when required by law: if we must respond to a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or Easy By Design.
  • A buyer or successor: if Easy By Design is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that deal, and this policy (or one that is at least as protective) will continue to apply.

Same or equal protection. Before we add any third-party service to an App or the Site, we review its privacy terms and only use providers whose privacy policies and data-protection terms give your information the same or equal protection as this policy. Service providers that process information on our behalf may use it only to provide their services to us.

6. How long we keep information

InformationHow long it is kept
On-device data (saves, settings, privacy choices)On your device until you delete the App or clear its data. We never hold a copy.
Advertising SDK data held by GoogleUnder Google’s retention policies; see How Google retains data. Google says it anonymizes ad-server log data by removing part of the IP address after 9 months and cookie information after 18 months.
Emails and support messagesUp to 12 months after the conversation ends, unless we need them longer to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. Records of privacy requests are kept for 24 months, as some U.S. state laws require.
Purchase records (if purchases are offered)As long as tax and accounting law requires, generally up to 7 years
Website server logsA short period set by Hostinger for security and troubleshooting, after which they are deleted automatically
Crash reports and statistics from Apple and GoogleUnder Apple’s and Google’s retention periods for developer reports

When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or made anonymous.

7. Your privacy choices

You can control how your information is used at any time, and none of these choices stop you from using our Apps.

  • Change your consent in the App. Where privacy law requires it, the App’s Settings include a Privacy choices or Privacy options button that reopens Google’s consent form, so you can withdraw or change your consent.
  • Stop tracking on iPhone and iPad. Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Turn off the App, or turn off “Allow Apps to Request to Track.”
  • Delete or reset your advertising ID on Android. Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some devices, Settings → Google → Ads), then Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID.
  • Manage Google ads. Review or turn off ad personalization at Google My Ad Center.
  • Stop sharing diagnostics. Turn off analytics or diagnostics sharing in your device settings (see section 2.5).
  • Remove on-device data. Delete the App, or on Android use Settings → Apps → [App] → Storage → Clear storage.

8. How to delete your data

Our Apps have no accounts, so there is no account to delete. Here’s how to delete each kind of data:

  1. Data stored in the App on your device: delete the App (or clear its storage on Android). This removes your progress, settings and privacy choices completely. We can’t recover it.
  2. Advertising data held by Google: delete or reset your advertising ID (Android) or turn off tracking (iOS) so new data can’t be linked to your old identifier. You can also make requests to Google directly through Google’s privacy tools or the Google privacy troubleshooter. Because we never receive these identifiers, we can’t look up or delete Google’s data for you, but we’re happy to help you find the right place to ask.
  3. Emails and any other data we hold about you: email info@easybydesign.com with the subject “Data deletion request.” We will delete it within 30 days, and within 45 days at the latest, except for anything we must keep by law (such as tax records), which we will tell you about.

9. Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy in a portable format;
  • correct information that is wrong;
  • delete your information;
  • object to or restrict how we use it, or opt out of targeted advertising;
  • withdraw consent at any time (this doesn’t affect anything done before you withdrew it).

How to make a request: email info@easybydesign.com with the subject “Privacy request,” or write to the mailing address in section 1. Tell us what you’re asking for and which App it concerns. Because we don’t keep accounts, we can usually only identify information you’ve given us directly (such as emails), and we may ask for details to confirm a request is genuinely yours. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your signed permission. Making a request is free, and we won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Response times: we respond within one month for requests under the GDPR or UK GDPR (extendable by two months for complex requests, with notice), and within 45 days for requests under U.S. state laws (extendable once by 45 days where the law allows, with notice).

Appeals: if we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with the subject “Privacy appeal.” We will respond within 60 days and explain our decision. If you’re still not satisfied, you can contact your state Attorney General. Texas residents can contact the Texas Attorney General.

EEA, UK and Switzerland: in addition to the rights above, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We’d appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first, so please contact us.

10. U.S. state privacy notice

This section gives the additional information required by U.S. state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and similar laws in other states. We offer these rights to all U.S. residents, whether or not a particular law applies to us.

Categories of personal information collected in the last 12 months:

  • Identifiers: advertising IDs and other device identifiers, and IP address (collected by Google through Apps with ads); email address or phone number (if you contact us).
  • Internet or other electronic network activity: interactions with the App and its ads (collected by Google through Apps with ads); Site server logs.
  • Geolocation data: approximate location derived from IP address only. We don’t collect precise geolocation.
  • Inferences: Google may infer interests from ad interactions to personalize ads, only where you have allowed personalized ads.
  • Communications: the content of messages you send us.

Sources: your device (through the Google Mobile Ads SDK), you directly, and Apple and Google (for optional diagnostics and any purchase records).

Purposes: the purposes listed in section 3.

“Sale,” “sharing” and targeted advertising: we don’t sell personal information for money. However, when you allow personalized ads, Google’s use of identifiers, internet activity and approximate location for cross-context behavioral advertising may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising,” and in some states a “sale,” under state law. The third party involved is Google. To opt out, decline personalized ads or tracking using any of the options in section 7 (for example, choose “Ask App Not to Track” on iOS, delete your advertising ID on Android, or use the App’s Privacy choices button), or email us. Our Site does no targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of there, and it respects any Global Privacy Control signal by default.

Sensitive personal information: we don’t collect it.

Minors: we don’t knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

11. Children

Our Apps and Site are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, such as 16 in some EEA countries), and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. Some Apps, such as casino-style games that use play credits only, are rated for adults and are intended only for users who meet the age rating shown on the store listing. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us at info@easybydesign.com and we will delete it promptly.

12. How we protect information

We take reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect information, including:

  • Collecting as little as possible. Our Apps keep your data on your device and have no servers or accounts that could be breached.
  • Encryption in transit. Our Site is served only over HTTPS, and Google encrypts advertising SDK data in transit using TLS.
  • Access controls. Our developer, advertising, hosting and email accounts are protected with strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication, and only Easy By Design personnel who need access have it.
  • Vetting providers. We only use established providers with their own security programs.
  • Incident response. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires (for example, within 72 hours of becoming aware of it where the GDPR applies).

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to keep this policy accurate.

13. International transfers

Easy By Design is based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose laws may differ from those where you live. Google relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) and on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission for transfers of personal data from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. When you email us from outside the United States, your message is transferred to us in the United States so that we can reply.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our Apps, our providers or the law change. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make a material change, such as collecting a new type of data, adding an advertising partner, or using data in a new way, we will update this page before the change takes effect, update the App’s store privacy disclosures, and where the law requires it, ask for your consent in the App.
